I have been drinking tap water here like it is going out of style, filling and refilling my camel bak bottle, taking it everywhere I go. But yesterday, when our property manager was here, I offered him a glass of water, and mentioned that I hoped tap was fine. He was horrified, and looked at me like I was disgusting. He proceeded to give a five minute lecture on the high levels of heavy metals and minerals in the water in Barcelona, proven to turn teeth yellow, harm the liver, and impede "women's systems," (his words). Could this be true? Or is he just fancy? I am getting mixed reviews online - some say its fine, others say buy bottled. I'm not sure what to do, but I do know I'm offering him orange juice or wine next time.

Don't Drink the Water?

We only drank bottled water when we were there...I'm not really sure why though. We usually ended up buying it at the Panaderia just a couple doors down from the building and we always got the cheapest brand in the biggest bottle they had and would just refill our stainless steel bottles. You're probably fine...but the water is so cheap, why not buy bottled eh?
